Sonic the Hedgehog

A sketch I drew showing how I believed Classic Japanese Sonic looked in his Genesis Games. Sorry for the overused poses, I just wanted to make it look the similar so I could show some of the differences. If you have any questions please feel free to do so.

Notice everytime Sonic ages, his quills get longer and spikier, and aren't floppy.

The Sonic I know:

Sonic likes R&R (rest and relaxation) just as much as he likes running off into his adventures! Sonic the Hedgehog likes to explore new places, and sometimes likes being alone! His never ending thirst for adventure never stops running, like him. Sonic is impatient sometimes, and causes him to get bored and snap, almost always in a hurry, likes things to be done on time. Sonic is no time waster. Sonic focuses on always trying to become faster than he is. Sonic doesn't like distractions from one of his hobbies. Sonic loves to play around and have fun with his enemies, he loves to confuse his enemies and just plain out mess around with them. Sonic likes to cause jokes and be playful. Sonic likes to show off his speed through action. Sonic does not talk bad about his friends. He doesn't brag about his victories and isn't full of himself, where it becomes annoyingly noticeable and arrogant, and sides it off with a, "Whatever". Sonic isn't prideful, and says he's only doing his job. Sonic is dependable and friendly. Sonic has a strong sense of justice and freedom. When it's needed and things get serious and dangerous, he stops slacking off and becomes dead serious. When he sees someone who cries for help, Sonic rushes over to their aid. Sonic is the go get 'em and chase em to the ends of the earth/mobius type of Hedgehog. He hates evil, and dislikes it as much as Robotnick and sees Robotnick as a threat. Sonic is kind, naive, and forgiving. Sonic is the fastest thing alive!
